Bought this bag for airplane transport. Thought I would have to buy smaller golf bag but my clubs fit great in my original bag. Some padding on the bag makes me feel more confident my clubs will arrive in one piece. For the money its a great find.
I have traveled all the world and have never had a problem. I use a SKB hard case with great success and meets the dimensions that can travel as free luggage with Delta, because with my lightweight bag it weight under weight limitations. I have had it for about twenty years. Still looks great. The company as replaced one support and keys I have lost free of charge. I am sold on these. May not be a pretty, but very functional. Tough to fit in small size vehicles when traveling.

I’ve had and used a Samsonite hardcover travel bag for a few years and love it. It was fairly inexpensive compared to those in this list and has held up very well over the 9-10 times I’ve traveled with it the least 4-5 years.
I used a CG Burstproof for over 15 yrs. I agree they’re great. However, the Burstproof isn’t as big as I’d like. Zipper blew out on my CG, and I switched to a CaddyDaddy b/c a friend has one. IMO, every bit as good as CG, 1/3 the price. Very surprised it scored so low in this testing.
I’ve been using the A99 hands down the best travel bag. It had a full length 9 in diameter PVC tube as the inner liner. The exterior looks like s normal golf bag. Two full length side pockets fit shoes raingear. Bottom has room for balls etc. Two wheels on bottom and s handle on the top make pulling in easy. It stands up on flat bottom. When you arrive at resort you remove the protective tube shaped head cover and it’s a gold bag you can carry by strap it place on a cart. These easily fit a trunk and weigh the sane as most carry bags. Priced under $200 can
